A multi-level security system ensures that only authorized employees transfer merchandise to the correct transfer accounts. Assign security bits for the various stages of a transfer (create, delete, and various change operations).
The following security bits apply to transfers:
406 – Create transfers.
407 – Delete transfers.
408 – Change transfers.
409 – Change the status on transfers.
647 – Change price and/or cost on a transfer.
648 – Change From-store or To-store on a transfer.
707– Delete Transfers in POS.
69 and 840 – Delete capability in the POS Order Viewer (including deleting transfers)
In Security Maintenance (MSE) assign the appropriate transfer security bits to your employees. For more information about setting up security, refer to the online help topics. From the Contents tab, open the System Management book and then the Security book. Click here to open the overview topic, "Welcome to Eagle for Windows Security."
