The only Do It Best async control streams that require modification are HWIEFMTC (used to update the catalog) and HWIRDC (used to receive RSC balances). All other Do It Best async control streams are created with a utility called TCSUTL, which automatically prompts you for your member number and password.
Use the following procedure to modify the HWIEFMTC or the HWIRDC control stream.
Look for the line that reads
OUT uuuuuuuu,pppppppp\13
Move your cursor to the first u. Type mb00 and then your four-digit member number over the u's. For example, if your member number is 5400, type mb005400 over the u's. If your member number is less than 4 digits, use leading zeros. For example, if your member number is 343, you'd enter mb000343. (Note: mb must be in lower case.)
Move your cursor to the first p. Type membt and then your three-digit password over the p's. For example, if your password is 543, enter membt543. (Note: membt must be in lower case.)
Important: If you don't know your password, you can obtain it from Do-It-Best at 260-748-5565. If you've already converted to async communications with Do-It-Best, you can look at your HWIEFM control stream for your password.
