Selecting "Show Interstore Availability"

(Customer Order Management users only)

Select the Show Interstore Availability option from the Source Menu to view the availability of an item in other stores to help you decide how best to fulfill the order.

Once you've selected the Show Interstore Availability option, do the following:

  1. Review the availability of the item in your store (the selling store) and your other stores.

  2. Press ENTER to return to the Source Menu.

  3. Select the appropriate option from the Source Menu.  For example, if you find that there is sufficient quantity-on-order in your store to fulfill the customer's order, select the Backorder option. If you find that another store has the item in stock and you want to transfer it in, select the Transfer option.
