Add Serial Numbers to SKU

With Level 28 you can add new serial numbers to a SKU. Prior to this change, the ability to add serial numbers to a SKU in the Serial Number Viewer (SNV) was only allowed if the SKU had existing serial numbers.

To add new serial numbers to a SKU, perform the following steps:

1. Open SNV and in the SKU field, enter the SKU number, for example, 776. Click Enter or Refresh.
   
   
   
2. From the Misc menu, select choice 5 Maintain Serial Numbers.
   
   
   
3. The Add Seral Number for SKU 776 screen displays. Enter the serial number you want to add and click <OK>.
   
   

4. Once the new serial Number is added, return back to the Serial Number Viewer and click Refresh to display the newly added Serial Number for SKU 776.
