(ID# 9125) This Inventory option in Options Configuration determines if the Overstock column displays in the "All Stores" POS Item Display window. Set this option to Yes to display the Overstock column.
Overstock is calculated as follows: If Option 8115 "Re-order when QOH is less than Order Point" = Yes, then the calculation of overstock is QOH - Committed Quantity - Order Point. If Option 8115 is set to No, then the calculation of overstock is QOH - Committed Quantity - Order Point + 1. If using Maximum Stock Level, then Max Stock Level is used in place of Order Point in this calculation.
