This field is on the Main tab of the Customer Maintenance window.
Use this field to enter a dollar multiplication factor (by ton) for assessing this customer a freight charge based on the total weight of all eligible SKU Part s on a POS invoice.
Eligible SKU Part s have a weight entered (in pounds) in the Weight field in Inventory Maintenance.
If you select to assess a freight charge, POS takes the total weight of all eligible SKU Part s on an invoice and divides it by 2000 (rounding to three decimal places). Then, that figure is multiplied by the amount entered in this field and rounded to two decimal places.
This field is numeric. You can enter up to four numbers plus a decimal point.
