Default Pricing Unit of Measure.
This field on the Misc tab of Customer Maintenance is the pricing unit of measure you use to sell items to this account.
P = Sell items to this account using the pricing unit of measure.
S = Sell items to this account using the selling unit of measure.
A = Sell items to this account using the alternate unit of measure.
When you sell merchandise to this account, the system checks this field to determine the unit of measure to use at POS. Then it checks the Inventory File to determine the correct price for this unit of measure.
You can change the unit of measure for a specific transaction in POS.
