This field in Customer Maintenance is the job number for this account. It is the number you use to identify this job. Each job must have its own job number.
Use job numbers to track customer accounts and statements by job.
To use job accounts, you must add a main account. Then you can add the job accounts associated with the main account.
This field is numeric. You can enter up to three numbers.

If adding a job on a revolving account, keep in mind that the system doesn’t support applying a payment across all jobs. If you have the need to apply payments across jobs, set up the account as Balance Forward.
Do not use job number 999. The system uses this job number when you delete completed jobs so it can collect the sales history for all jobs.
