Creating and Maintaining Journal Transactions Overview

Use the General Journal Transactions window to create and maintain journal transactions. From this window, you can manually add new journal transactions, or you can view or delete unposted journal transactions that are already in the system.

There is also a viewer available called the View General Ledger Detail viewer. It allows you to view posted general ledger transactions in a grid format.

Your Epicor Eagle™ system has the ability to "pass off" information from accounts receivable and sales to create journal transactions automatically. In addition, if you use the Payroll and/or Accounts Payable programs, you can automatically pass off information from those programs as well.
