If you are viewing an existing transaction, this field indicates whether or not the system automatically calculated distribution.
If you are adding a transaction, and if you have set up an automatic distribution code for this account, you can accept the auto distribution or you can enter the entire amount for this account. If you accept auto distribution, the system automatically calculates distribution and will round to the nearest cent. Any remaining amount is added to the last distribution to balance the accounts.
Note: If there is no distribution code set up for a particular account, the system will not allow you enter a Y in the Auto Distribute box. You should accept the default of N.
