Displaying a Customer Account in Customer Maintenance

You can display a customer account by entering the customer number, sort name, phone number, or document number in the Customer box.

Displaying a Customer Account

1. Display the Customer Maintenance window.

2. In the Customer box:

1. • If you know the customer number, type the number and press ENTER.

   • If you know the customer name, type all or part of the customer name. From the list that displays, click the correct customer.

   • If you know the phone number, type the phone number (with or without the area code). From the list that displays, click the correct customer.

   • If you have set up Alternate Customer IDs, type = (equal sign) in the Customer box, then type an Alternate ID (i.e. driver's license number, street address, etc.). For more information about setting up Alternate IDs, click here.

   • If you know a document number, type the document number starting with a period and then press ENTER. For example, if the document number is 12345, type .12345 in the Customer box and press ENTER.
