Alternate Items: Include/Exclude by Customer

(Inventory Pro users only)

In Customer Maintenance, you can specify customers who do not accept certain types of alternate items. Any types you exclude do not display for that customer, unless you set the option " Allow Selling Customer Excluded Alternate Items at POS?" in Options Configuration to Yes, in which case excluded items do display, but the clerk receives a warning if they select one.

  1. Display the Customer Maintenance window.

  2. Display the customer for which you want to exclude certain types of alternate items.

  3. Click the Standard Sell price in POS hyperlink.

  1. In the dialog box that displays, enter the letters and/or numbers that correspond to the Types of alternate items you want to exclude, and click OK.

  1. Click Change on the toolbar to save your changes.
