If you have purchased the Epicor Eagle™ Labels for Windows application, you can print high-quality laser price labels and bin labels quickly and easily. The application is very flexible in that you can print labels:
for items in your Inventory file on your Epicor Eagle™ system
for items in a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file that you create with the Epicor Eagle™ Request application, or you can use any CSV file on your PC
(POS Flex-Labels users only) for items on POS documents, including special order labels, shipping labels, and return merchandise authorization (RMA) labels (if you use Pick/Pack/Ship / Customer Order Management).
When printing labels using your Inventory file, you can choose to print a single label, a range of labels, or even a group of labels that can include any items you stock, regardless of whether or not the items fall within a particular range. You can even "import" a range of items to create a batch of labels, and then make any necessary modifications to the imported range (such as delete or change items) before printing the labels.
The Labels for Windows application comes with pre-formatted bin label and price label designs. However, you may choose to design your own labels by using the "Label Designer." With the Designer, you can choose which fields you want to print on the labels (including bar codes), and where on the label you want them to print. You can then save the label designs you create so you can use them again and again.
Before printing labels, you can use the "preview" feature to get an on-screen preview of how your labels will look once they're printed. Another convenient feature about the Labels application is that you can specify where on the sheet of labels you want to begin printing. Therefore, as long as you have not removed any labels from a sheet of labels, you can continue to use the same sheet until all labels are used.
