Display Cash Drawer (DCD) Field Help

Use Display Cash Drawer (DCD) to verify how much money should be in a clerk's cash drawer. You can display the status of any cash drawer at any time during the day without interrupting the clerk who is using it.

Listed below in alphabetical order are the DCD fields. Click the hyperlink to see a field's description, and information important to its use.

• #The number of checks and bankcards received by clerk or terminal.

• BankcardsAmount received from customers in the form of bankcard payments so far today, by clerk or by terminal.

• ChargesAmount charged to customer accounts so far
  today, by clerk or by terminal.

• ChecksAmount received at POS in checks so far
  today, by clerk or by terminal.

• ClerkThe letters that identify the clerk whose
  sales activity is displayed.

• Clerk or TerminalDetermines whether the figures on the Display Cash Drawer screen are by clerk (C) or by terminal (T).

• DateThe date for which the sales activity is displayed.

• Net Cash CollectedAmount received at POS in cash so far
  today, minus change returned, by clerk or by
  terminal.

• Net SalesTotal sales so far today, minus discounts, by clerk or by terminal. This figure need not equal the sum of the figures in the preceding columns.

• Sales TaxThe amount of sales tax collected so far today,
  by clerk or by temtinal

• StStore. The number of the store whose cash drawers are displayed.

• StoreThe number of the store whose cash drawers are displayed. Multistore users: Leave the Store field blank to display all stores.

• TerminalThe number that identifies the terminal whose sales activity is displayed.
