Copying Saved Transactions

You can create a saved transaction by copying another saved transaction. You can make a copy for another customer, or for the same customer.

You can also reprice the new saved transaction when you copy it. This allows you to copy the items and quantities from the original saved transaction, but use prices that are appropriate for the new saved transaction.

To copy/reprice a saved transaction

  1. On the POS Header Screen, display the transaction you want to copy.

  2. On the toolbar, click  .

  3. Click .  A dialog box displays.  Fill in the fields.

  1.  (Optional) To select specific repricing options, click  .  The Select Repricing Options dialog box displays.  Fill in the fields as desired, and then click OK.  If you choose not to reprice or recost, the system uses the prices and costs from the original transaction for the new transaction.

  1. (Optional) To include or exclude certain items from being repriced, click .  The Select Line Items dialog box displays.  Fill in the fields as desired, and then click OK.

  1. Click . The system copies the transaction and assigns a new transaction number.
