Use the following procedure to suspend a POS transaction in progress (security bit 620 is required to execute this procedure). Once the customer returns to the register, you can recall the transaction and complete it.
A QuickTip video about Suspended Transactions is available. To view QuickTips, go to http://www.activant.com/eagle-customer-support/, and click Training Browser. When the Training Browser displays, click Videos in the left pane, and then click Quick Tips.
Click Total to total the transaction in progress.
Click Suspend. The Suspend Reference dialog box displays.
Enter a reference for this transaction, up to 20 characters. For example, you may want to enter the customer's name.
Click OK. A dialog box displays, showing the document number the transaction has been assigned.
Click OK.
