True Value Real Time Integration Overview

Epicor will be taking advantage of a real time integration with True Value’s web service (or real time integration) to give each store more opportunity to engage customers in True Value Rewards and promotional activities.  The following enhancements will provide more opportunities to enroll customers, ensure you are using a customer’s TV Rewards account with every transaction, and lay the foundation to future digital marketing opportunities.  

• Card-less Enrollment – Enroll a Loyalty customer to receive a True Value Rewards number and drive existing local to Eagle TV REWARDS enrollment applications without the need to issue a plastic card/keyfob.
• Universal Lookup – Development of client user interface changes to drive new True Value web services that perform universal account look up (searching through the entire TV Rewards customer database) and return the TV Rewards account number to Eagle for Windows Point of Sale to initiate a TV Rewards transaction.
• Limited Use Coupon – Support the scanning and recognition of a new True Value Limited Use Coupon barcode (a one-time-use/serialized coupon) and upon recognition of such a barcode, validate the ability to use the coupon on the existing transaction for that customer.
