The following explains the changes to True Value functions on level 23.3781 (Epicor Eagle⢠for Windows release 10). For additional information about a particular enhancement listed below, click on the blue underlined text associated with it. To return to this page, click the Back button.
If you are signed up with True Value's Variable Pricing program, you can now perform timely downloads of variable retail price changes with Electronic Variable Pricing (EVP). By using this new application, you no longer have to wait until you happen to reorder items to receive their new variable retail.
You can now receive ERP by PO number. Simply enter Y in the new field "Use A-Copy PO Numbers," which is found on the From/To page of the ERP window. If you enter Y in this field, the system reconciles to the PO numbers in the incoming data from True Value. To receive ERP by PO number, you must do the following:
In the Send Purchase Order window, you must send your PO number when transmitting your order to True Value by checking the Send PO Number option.
In the ERP window, you must set the "Append to Target PO" field to Y and specify a target PO in the "Target PO # to Reconcile" field. Items which can not be applied to the PO in the incoming data will be appended to this target PO. This situation can occur if the PO is no longer on file on your system, or if a particular item is no longer on the PO.
New functions EMD (Electronic Market Download), RMD (Report for Market Download), and EMP (Electronic Market PO) are now available to support True Value's Connect for Profit market program. For more information on these functions, visit True Value's web site at www.membersonline.com.
UCID now has a new option, "Select Source." Options are I (Inventory file) and P (Price Change file). The default is I. If you select I, the application behaves just as it always has; it creates LDT records based on the items in your inventory file. If you select P, the application creates LDT records based on the items in your Price Change file. In other words, if the item is not in your price change file, it will not get selected for the download. Use this option to pull down price changes from the MCS and then download these price changes to your LDT. This will allow you to check prices and/or print bin tags for only those items whose price has changed.
The Miscellaneous Partition is now supported on the True Value Telxon.
