To use POS Consumer Digital Display (CDD), you must have the following software configuration options enabled on your system:
Option 1042 "POS 2.0 Consumer Digital Display on System” must be set to Y.
Option 7100 “POS 2.0 Number of Consumer Digital Display Terminal Licenses” must be set to the number of terminals licensed to use POS CDD. For the procedure to license terminals for POS CDD, see the job aid “Un-Licensing and Licensing Terminals.”
Eagle server level 33.1085 or higher, and Eagle for Windows client software level 21.0658 or higher
You must download the driver software for this device from the manufacturer's website.
Click here to download the driver software. When the product page displays, click the “Updated Driver Now Available! Click Here” link at the bottom of the page.
The File Download window displays. Click Save and select a folder in which to save the file. Epicor recommends saving the file to the C:\3apps\Temp folder. Click Save. Click Close when the download completes.
Go to the C:\3apps\temp folder and extract the zip file 30540_v11_05.zip to this location or to another folder accessible to the target PC.
Run C:\3apps\Temp\Ver.11.05.0505.0159_WHQL\Setup.exe, and follow the prompts in the installation wizard to install the driver software.
