Health Benefit Cards: Manually Flagging Items

Pharmacy users only

You will normally use SIGIS to import Health Benefit Card items. But if you ever need to manually flag an item as FSAFlexible Spending Account-eligible, use the following procedure.

1. Display the Inventory Maintenance window.

2. Display the item.

3. On the Codes tab, enter User Code "H" for a health benefits item, or enter User Code "R" for a pharmacy item. Note that the User Code position must correspond to option 9135. The following example is for a health benefit item, with option 9135 set to use User Code C3 (Expanded Codes C, third position).
