The following are the hardware and software requirements for Eagle™ Document Imaging for Windows (E4WDI).
Networked Eagle server with a minimum of 2GB of available disk space. ISC Eagle servers are not supported.
Receipt printers must be PAC or PACLESS. Document Imaging does not support System Receipt printers (a receipt printer that is used by more than one terminal).
The Epson TM-J7100 inkjet receipt printer is required if you want to print/reprint receipts with electronically captured signatures.
(not applicable if you purchased only the Electronic Journal) Dot Matrix or Laser Invoice printers must be set up and configured as network printers ("Windows" printers). E4WDI doesn't support invoice printers connected to ATA, DIGI, EIO, IDC-8 or RTA ports. The Windows printer must be a laser printer if you want to print/reprint POS transactions with electronically-captured signatures.
A Signature Pad is required at any Eagle for Windows POS stations that will capture electronic signatures.
POS for Windows. E4WDI is not supported in Legacy POS.
Offline POS for Windows, if you want to use E4WDI while in Offline POS.
(not applicable if you purchased only the Electronic Journal) Document Management. The Document Management application includes Laser Printing, Invoice Archive, and Electronic Journal.
(not applicable if you purchased only the Electronic Journal) ProtoBase, if you want to capture signatures on bank card transactions.
