The following are some of examples of uses of Options Templates, and a brief overview of how you'd set them up. For the detailed procedure for setting up a template, click here.
You can set up a User template that you can apply to new employees.
In Options Configuration, use checkboxes to mark the options you want to include in the User template. (Note: you can also use the down-arrow key and spacebar to place or remove checkmarks.)
Set the appropriate values in the "Current Value" column to reflect the settings you want a new employee to have.
Save the template.
After creating a new employee's User record, apply the template to it.
You can set up a Terminal template that you can apply to new terminals.
In Options Configuration, use checkboxes to mark the options you want to include in the Terminal template.
Set the appropriate values in the "Current Value" column to reflect the settings you want a new terminal to have.
Save the template.
After creating a new Terminal record, apply the template to it.
