PO to Transfer: Complete Transfer

So far you've created a suggested order, used the order to create a transfer, printed a pick ticket to fill the order, entered changes, and printed labels. The next step is to complete the transfer.

The merchandise arrives at the To-store and the items are checked against a copy of the transfer. Note any discrepancies in the items or quantities that were actually shipped compared to the items listed on the transfer.

  1. At the To-store, in POS, display the transfer. For procedure steps, click here to go to the help topic.

  2. Display the transfer on the Posting screen. The transfer is Status S (shipped), so no changes can be made to the items on the transfer. If discrepancies were found when the merchandise was checked in, create a transfer adjustment after you complete the transfer.

  3. Total the transfer. When the Transfer Status dialog displays, select C (complete) for the Transfer Status. Print the document (click Print or click Menu to select a different print sequence). Or, click OK to finish the transaction without printing a copy. Complete the transfer as you normally would.
