Dynamic Promotions Overview

If you have purchased the Epicor Eagle™ Dynamic Promotions application, you can offer promotions that involve multiple items, such as “Buy One, Get One” (BOGO) offers. There are 13 powerful promotions that enhance your ability to draw customers into your business and drive new sales.

With Dynamic Promotions, you decide what triggers the discount at Point-of-Sale: the purchase of one or more items or a coupon. Because the discounts are triggered by a purchase or a coupon, the Dynamic Promotion Pricing doesn’t appear on the Point-of-Sale posting screen. Instead, it is calculated when the transaction is totaled and is then printed on the receipt.

Note that if a Dynamic Promotion method is a percent off or dollars off (rather than "free"), the promotion price is calculated based on the posted price. Dynamic Promotions types 1, 2, 3, and 13 offer "Best Price" logic.

Dynamic Promotions respect the setting in the customer's "Allow Regular Promotion Pricing" field in Customer Maintenance.
