Use the Post G/L Transactions report (RGGG) to post journal transactions to General Ledger so that they will appear on your financial statements. Make sure you print the edit list and make any necessary corrections before posting transactions.
From the Eagle Browser, click General Ledger. From the General Ledger Menu, under the heading "General Ledger Reports," click Post G/L Transactions (RGGG). The Post G/L Transactions report window displays.
If you have set up a Default Report Profile for this report, you can simply click Run to use the defaults. Or, you can retrieve a saved report, make any necessary changes, and click Run. Otherwise, continue with the next step.
From the page, review the default entries in the fields and make changes if needed. For a definition of each field, click here.
From the page, leave the N if you do not want to post transactions if they're out of balance (debits do not equal credits). If you want to post transactions even if they're out of balance, type a Y in this field.
Note: Typically you would not post out-of-balance transactions, in which case you'd leave the N in this field.
If you want to print the report for a particular user and/or a particular transaction date, click and fill in the appropriate information in the blank fields.
Click Run.
