To view or modify a Service Order, recall it and make any desired changes.
To view or modify Service Order "header" information, recall the Service Order, press Header (F11) twice to display the Service Order dialog, and make the desired changes. Note that if you want to change the equipment description, you can only do so from the POS posting screen, not from the Service Order dialog. Press More Fields if you want to view or modify the additional Service Order fields. Press OK (Enter) to save your changes.
To modify a Service Order's Status, Status Notes, Technician, Location, or Other Note, you can use any of the following methods:
Use the Service Order dialog, as described above.
When you press Total, select S-Service Order Status, modify the appropriate field(s), and press Enter.
From the Service Order Viewer , arrow down to the appropriate Service Order in the grid so that it is highlighted, press Change (Shift-F5),make the appropriate changes, and press Enter. This method is convenient for a manager to make changes to a group of Service Orders (e.g. assign Technicians or change Statuses).
