The following explains the changes to Epicor Eagle™ Inventory for Windows on level 24.2506 (Eagle for Windows level 11.5038). For additional information about a particular enhancement listed below, click on the blue underlined text associated with it. To return to this page, click the Back button.
Finished Goods, which is an extension of the Bill of Materials application, is a new feature that allows you to take a group of raw material SKUs and convert them into a "finished" SKU which becomes a stocked item in the Inventory file that can be sold at Point-of-Sale.
Lot Tracking is a purchase option that allows you to sell and track the sales of products based on groupings or "lots." For example, items such as wallpaper, carpeting, and fabric are often tracked by lot. Lots are usually marked with certain identifying traits that you want to track, such as Lot Number, PO Number, Date Received, and the Vendor from which the product was purchased. When you ring up a Lot item at POS, a list of its lots automatically displays for your selection.
You can now use the Alternate Part Number Report (RAP) to print a list of serial numbers and whether they are available or already sold. Simply use RAP with report type "W." In conjunction with this report type, you can also select Option G to print only available serial numbers, or option H to print only sold serial numbers. There is also a new From/To criterion for "Date Sold" which allows you to print a specific range of serial numbers based on the date they were sold.
A new Promotion Sales History Report (RPS) is now available. The report can be run in one of two formats, summary (one line per item) or detail (two lines per item) and with a variety of from and to ranges.
You can now set up customer SKUs in Eagle for Windows. Customer SKUs allow you to enter your customer’s SKU numbers in POS, and the system will cross- reference to the corresponding SKU number in your Inventory file. The customer’s SKUs print on all their POS documents. The Epicor Software Corporation™ Licensing department or Eagle Advice Line must activate this feature for you. Then, you can begin setup by selecting the "Maintain Customer SKUs" option from the Go To menu in Inventory Maintenance. You must have security bit 671 to access this option.
A new option, "Update Existing Vendor Records," is now available when installing a Do it Best FastChange CD. Answering Yes to this option will update existing vendor records in the vendor file.
A new option, "Windows Labels– Allow RQ/CSV Labels On This System," can now be found under the Inventory subsystem in Options Configuration, which will allow you to print laser labels using a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file created with the Epicor Eagle™ Request application, or any CSV file on your PC.
UCID will now download the "Last Receipt Quantity" for SKU’s that keep track of receiving history. Before this change, UCID only downloaded the Last Receipt Date.
UCID can now be added to an End-Of-Day Queue.
