PPS: Setup Overview

Before you can use Pick/Pack/Ship (PPS), the Epicor Licensing Department or the Eagle Advice Line must activate the following flags in Options Configuration:  

• Option 76 "Advanced Order Entry on System" must be set to Y.  

As a result of changing "Advanced Order Entry on System" to Y, the flag "Create Transfer" will be set to a new value automatically. If it was previously set to Y or P, it will be automatically set to B.  If it was previously set to N, it will be automatically set to O.

• Option 74 "Use Pick/Pack/Ship flow in Order Entry" must be set to Y.

• Option 19 "Transfer Passoff" must be set to Y (if you use Epicor's General Ledger application)

Setting Up Pick/Pack/Ship

To set up the PPS application, do the following:

• Set up options related to PPS

• Set up security related to PPS

• Set up Eagle Alerts related to PPS

• Set up shipping methods

• Set up Shipping fields by customer

• Set up UPS Online Worldship Integration, if applicable

• Set up alternate (substitute) items

• Set up selling codes

• Set up the Open Order Item Report (RIO) to run nightly

• Set up Auto-transfer items

• Set up Transfer Customer Links

• Set up the Audit Reports to run nightly

• Set up Flex Forms

• Set Up Order Entry (as instructed in the Set Up Order Entry book)
