(Eagle OS [Linux] systems only)
To begin using the Timed Promotions feature, set up the following options on your Eagle system. Some options are optional, as indicated below.
Option 9381 “Allow use of timed promotions” must be set to Y in Options Configuration. This option also applies to begin/end time in Dynamic Promotions (Option 1081).
If desired, set up the following configuration options that are related to the Timed Promotions feature.
1082 "Import Promotion into MIP from CSV File on System?" (Epicor must activate this option for you)
9383 "Allow use of 'Maximum Units' promotions" To set this option to Yes, display the Options Configuration window, and click ID. Enter the ID number of the option, and click OK. Click in the Current Value column, select Yes, and click Change.
You create Timed Promotions in the Modify Item Promotion (MIP) window, just like you set up regular promotions.
