Use the following procedure to delete a saved transaction (orders,special orders, layaways, rainchecks, estimates, and bids). You need security bit 69 to use this procedure.
If you want to delete multiple saved transactions, click here for the procedure.
If you want to delete a suspended transaction, click here for the procedure.
On the Header Screen, display the transaction you want to delete.
If the transaction you are deleting is an order or special order, do the following before deleting it:
Refund the deposit (if any).
Delete any outstanding purchase orders for the special order line items generated through Report GPO. For more information, refer to the Purchasing and Receiving Manual.
Press delete.
On the Delete Transaction dialog box, press Y. The transaction is deleted, even if it had not yet expired. You will not be able to display it again, or reactivate it. If it was an open quote, the open quote prices are no longer used at POS.
The deleted record remains in the system until you run the Open Orders/Pick Tickets Report (ROO) with Option X to purge it.

The deleted record is immediately purged if the Purge Deleted Trx Immediately field is set to Y in Options Configuration.
