The following explains the changes to the Epicor Eagle™ Accounts Receivable for Windows software on level 23.2870 (Eagle for Windows release 9). In the Change Customer Number/Job (CCN) dialog box, you can now change the customer number of an account with jobs.
The Misc tab of Customer Maintenance has two new fields called "Alternate Phone" and "Alternate Fax". Both fields support up to 15 digits. They can be used for entering international phone numbers, or in the case of the Alternate Fax field, it can be used to enter 11-digit fax numbers. If there is a number in the Alternate Fax field, Eagle Fax will use that number when faxing from POS only (including faxing from QuickRecall). The Alternate Phone field is strictly for information only. Both of these fields have been added to ReQuest and Transoft U/SQL.
There is a new window that makes it easier for new Epicor customers to enter Accounts Receivable beginning balances. You enter a single dollar amount for each aging bucket (current, 1-30 days, etc.) rather than inputting each transaction. The window for loading A/R balances is accessed from the GoTo menu of Open Item Maintenance.
