Adding a Store Group

Use the following procedure to set up Store Groups. Before using this procedure, you must first set up the Options and Security for Store Groups.

  1. Display the Options Configuration window.

  2. Click Misc. A dialog box displays.

  3. Click Maintain Store Groups.

  4. If the Store Group Maintenance window displays, click Add.  

  5. In the Group ID field of the Add Store Group dialog box, enter a number from 1 to 99.  The system automatically adds a "G" (to signify "group") before the number you enter.

  6. In the Description field, type a description for this store group.  

  7. In the Stores field, enter the stores you want to include in this store group, separated by commas.   For example, if you want to include stores 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, enter 1,3,5,7,9. The order in which you enter the list of stores determines the order of their display.

  8. Click OK.

  9. Repeat steps 4-7 to add another store group, or click Cancel to close the dialog box.
