Use the Open Item Maintenance window to change A/R transaction information. The specific information you can change depends on the document type you are working with and whether or not the transaction has been finalized.
For any document you display in this program (finalized or unfinalized), you can change the following fields. Changing these fields does not generate a record of the change.

Disputed
Doc Date
Due Date
If the transaction is not finalized, type over any field and click Change.
If the transaction is finalized, you can change Reference, Disputed, Doc Date, Due Date, or Trx Codes. Type the new information and click Change.
To change other information:
If the document type is an invoice, credit, adjustment or balance forward, then create a new adjustment or credit document and apply it to the original transaction. For help on creating an adjustment or credit document, click here.
If the document type is a finance charge, then delete the finance charge and create a new finance charge document. For help on deleting finance charges for open item accounts, click here. To delete a finance charge document for a balance forward account, display the transaction and click delete. For help with looking up transactions, click here. If the document type is a payment, then delete the payment and create a new payment document. For help on deleting payments, click here. For help on creating a new payment document, select a topic from the Related Topics list.
