e-Statements Overview

If you have purchased e-Statements and iNet Connect, you can email Accounts Receivable statements to selected customers. e-Statements are emailed as an HTML file attachment or as embedded HTML. You must have an in-store Internet connection accessible by the Eagle Server. For more information about purchasing e-Statements, contact Epicor Direct at 800-538-8597, or send an email to inet@activant.com.

Additionally, if your store has an iNet web site with Accounts On-Line, your customers can view their archived statements online. Archived statements are stored in the Statement Archive Viewer.

To begin sending email statements, do the following:

  1. Check that your system meets the System Requirements for emailing statements

  2. Configure the File Transfer Manager (if you have previously set up E-mail Invoices, then you should have already set up the File Transfer Manager, and can skip this step)

  3. Set Up Email Statement Options

  4. Configure accounts to receive Email Statements

  5. If desired, customize your Email Statement message

  6. Generate Email Statements

The E-Statements feature is not available for the ISC operating system.
